- How do I expand a sentence without padding it?
- Add reasoning, not adjectives. A sentence gets longer honestly when you make its logic explicit, qualify how far the claim goes, define a term it assumes, or name the contrast it is arguing against. It gets longer dishonestly when you add words that carry no meaning, and a marker notices that immediately.
- Will this invent facts to make my sentence longer?
- No. It is instructed never to add a statistic, a study, a source or a named example — only to develop what your sentence already says. Anything it adds is reasoning you can check against your own case, and each result names what it added so you can judge that.
- Is this the same as a paraphrasing tool?
- No. A paraphraser keeps the length and changes the wording. An expander keeps the meaning and adds the development that was implied but not written — which is usually what a comment like “explain further” is actually asking for.
- Can I expand a whole paragraph?
- It works best on one sentence at a time, because the expansions are targeted at that sentence's specific logic. For a paragraph, run the sentence that is doing the most work and rebuild around it.
